PM Precept

Please join us starting Wednesday, October 7 in WT320 at 6:30 PM to study Hosea. Hosea was the last prophet to the Northern Kingdom of Israel before they were taken captive to Assyria.  He cried out to a nation caught up in harlotry, a nation which chose to abandon God and go after pagan idols.  In Hosea you can learn how God deals with those who turn away from Him and about a love that will not let you go. Register online.

Please note: Currently, no childcare is being offered.

Standing with the Lord

For a time such as this, what could be more relevant than a Bible Study on National Integrity?

What determines whether or not we are a nation of integrity? Scripture teaches that not just individuals are to be judged, but that through the ages nations have been judged according to their faithfulness to God. How do we as a nation stack up against God’s plumb line? (Amos 7:7-8) How do we measure up when we are held accountable? What does the Lord teach us in His Word about racism and violence and addictions? What does Scripture reveal about discerning good from evil and about allowing anything or anyone to control our lives but God? The Lord sets the standards to which nations, as well as individuals, are held accountable. Come join us as we search the Scriptures for God’s will regarding critical issues we face today.

Join us virtually via Zoom for Standing With the Lord, a study of God’s Word as it relates to National Integrity, including lessons on Foundations of National Integrity, Honesty, Violence, Addictions, Racism, Idolatry, Good Versus Evil, and National Accountability.

Life’s Healing Choices

● Have you struggled with hurts or issues in life that continue to haunt you?
● Have you experienced additional issues during the pandemic?
● Emotional, financial, relational, spiritual, etc. issues?

Join us for a study of the book “Life’s Healing Choices” by John Baker. This 9-week study is a practical look at the Beatitudes as they apply to the everyday challenges of life. The format uses DVD sessions, taught by Rick Warren, and application questions, which we will discuss in our group each week. Despite our different struggles, the Biblical principles that lead to healing and freedom are always the same, and our choice to change is always available.

Three class times are available via Zoom: Tuesdays beginning Sept 8: either 9:30 – 11:30 AM or 6:30 – 8:30 PM; Thursdays beginning Sept 10, 6:30 – 8:30 PM.
