Women’s Ministry

Why Women’s Ministry?

The purpose of any ministry is to come alongside all other ministries at work in the body to carry out the overall vision of the church.  As a women’s ministry, our calling is to find ways to do this with a focus on enriching the lives of the women we serve.

Tallowood Women provides opportunity to Engage in a Christ-centered community focused on loving God and serving others.  We Encourage women to know and follow Jesus in their daily lives.  Women are Equipped to become disciples who make disciples making an impact in our homes, our church and our community.

Welcome to Tallowood Women’s Ministry!  We are glad you’re here!

Spring 2021 Studies

Joy of Living

We are pleased to announce that JOL studies will resume on February 2, East Tower, 9:30 AM to 11:45 AM. We look forward to seeing you!

Morning Precept

Please join us starting January 13, WT320, 9:30-11:30 AM to study Esther – A Man and a Woman for Such a Time as This. What is your purpose? God is always working in the affairs of His creation, even when we are unaware. This study shows us how Esther attained royalty to fulfill God’s purpose in her life and the lives of His people. Can God use you “for such a time as this”? Workbooks are available for pick at the Reception Desk at Tallowood.

Evening Precept

Please join us starting February 10, WT308, 6:30-8:30 PM to study Kings & Prophets Series Part 9 – Led by Laura Thames and Lauri Schauldt. These were the last prophets to the Southern Kingdom of Judah before Judah was taken captive to Babylon. Each prophet cried out to a nation that needed to heed the Word of the Lord about judgment. Any nation, Assyria or Judah, which chose to worship idols rather than God, would be judged by God unless they turned to Him in repentance, but God would warn them first. These three prophets will teach you how God deals with those who turn away from Him and how He gives a warning to turn to Him rather than perish. Register here.
