Isaiah 40:1, 40:27-31, 41:10, 43:1-3; 2 Corinthians 12:7-10 | | Series:

We are so grateful that we get to worship together today. Many of our members and neighbors are displaced from their homes. So many have expressed the desire to help those who have lost so much. All of us have faced our fears of flooding in recent days. Some are waiting for things to return to normal. Others are dealing with the reality of the “new normal.” What does God have to say to us in times like these? The children of Israel were trying to get back home to Israel. The second part of Isaiah reminds us that we are utterly dependent on the God who is dependable and capable of sustaining and strengthening us. Our strength may fail, but his never does. God is with us.
