John 1:9-14 | Duane Brooks |
In this season of attentive patience, we wait on our tip- toes for babies to be born. After they are born, we give them our undivided attention. We take turns holding them. But when God’s Son was born, surprisingly, the world was not ready to recognize or receive him. But a miracle happened to those who received him and believed he was God’s Son: they too were born. Salvation is finally regeneration. God gives us a new birth from above. This and nothing less is the reason that Jesus was born: so that when we believe, we might be born and become God’s children. Do you believe?
