Luke 24:50-53 | Duane Brooks |
For so many years people believed the Sun revolved around the planet Earth. Then came Copernicus. He couldn’t help but notice that people had it wrong. Actually the Earth was not the center of the solar system at all. The Sun was. This became known as the Copernican Revolution. For some years now, an outside observer might conclude that Christians thought worship was about our preferences. Then we look at the worship in the New Testament and realize that worship is not about us as an audience but about Jesus who is the Audience of One. What do you think? Do we need a revolution to set things right so that Jesus is the center of our worship?
