Entering Phase 3 for Re-Gathering – Connect Groups Begin Meeting – Sunday, October 11

Tallowood will move into Phase 3 in our Conditions-Based plan for re-gatherings. On Sunday, October 11, we will offer in-person on campus Connect Groups (Sunday Bible Study Groups) for all ages. Many of our groups will continue to offer online Zoom groups as well. We may have some Connect Groups that may not gather immediately. You are welcome to participate in another group if your group is not ready to meet in person. Visit the Welcome Center to see a listing of Connect Groups that will be meeting in person.

If you have children birth through 5th grade, we ask that you pre-register each week to ensure we have a healthy environment for your children. To pre-register go here.

We are all learning about living in a ‘new normal.’ Please recognize that in a church of any size there will be differing views on many of the challenging circumstances we are currently experiencing. We ask  that we all show grace in this trying time.

Worship:

Sunday 8:45 and 11:15 AM –  On Campus and Online. Pre-recorded programming starts 15 minutes early. The services will be available on the website, Livestream, and Facebook. Preschool Care, birth to 3 years available during worship. Register your child here.

Regathering Plan

Phase 1: Socially Distanced Worship

During this phase we will continue streaming the service online, and we will begin re-gathering for in-person worship in the Worship Center. Safety protocols include mask wearing, hand washing, social distancing, and seating in the Worship Center will be spaced to ensure at least six feet between individuals/families. A move to phase 2 requires a continued period of flat or downward trends in the benchmark data.

Phase 2: Limited Gatherings

During this phase we will continue online and in-person worship. We will add Preschool care for birth through 3 years. Pre-K and older will worship with their families. In addition, small outdoor gatherings for adults, Students and Kids of 35 or fewer people and, and small indoor gatherings for adults and students of fewer than 25 people. Examples of these gatherings include sub-groups of Connect Groups meeting in front/backyards of people’s homes, small groups of Kids or students meeting outdoors on campus and small leadership meetings at church. Safety protocols previously mentioned will be practice. A move to Phase 3 requires moderate / controlled transmission of the virus according to benchmark data.

Phase 3: Expanded Gatherings

During this phase we continue online and in-person worship, and we will have a scaled increase in capacity for in-person worship in the Worship Center. In this phase, we will plan all age groups to begin Connect Groups on campus. Examples of other indoor gatherings may include: Wednesday night programing for all ages, Women’s and Men’s Ministry studies, and other weekday ministry programs. A move to Phase 4 requires minimal / controlled transmission of the virus according to benchmark data.

Phase 4: Return to Normal
During this phase, it is our desire we resume all gatherings – Worship, Connect Groups, etc. – at normal capacity. Safety protocols will continue as warranted.

Worship Details
Every Sunday– The traditional worship will meet at 8:45 AM and the contemporary worship will meet at 11:15 AM. Both of these services will be available on livestream only. Beginning August 30 we will also offer on campus worship.
Connect Groups – We encourage you to continue to meet online via Zoom or some other online platform. We recognize that each Connect Group will need to determine the best time for their group to meet. No decisions have been made on when Connect Groups will be able to re-gather on campus. We face a number of limitations related to social distancing guidelines (space, capacity, children and preschool, etc.).
