Special Needs Ministry

…Find Your Way. Together

At Tallowood, we are delighted to offer Sunday morning fellowship and Bible study to children and adults with special needs.   Our church family is made up of many parts, and we believe it is our privilege to celebrate and accommodate those with different abilities as they learn about God and his great love for them. We agree with 1 Corinthians 12:22 that “those parts of the body that seem to be weaker are indispensable…” and are excited to journey together, growing and serving with you and your loved one!

Currently our special needs ministry has six Sunday morning Connect Groups, all on a quest with the same goal: finding your way. Together. For those able to attend a typical Sunday morning Connect Group but need a little help to do so, we can provide a Buddy volunteer to accompany them to class. Each Connect Group is led by a trained teacher and follows a Bible-based curriculum. Additionally, each Connect Group is staffed with trained volunteers, and medical and personal care needs are attended to by a qualified caregiver.

Before attending for the first time, please fill out an Informational Questionnaire so that we can be prepared to provide the best of care for your family member.
