55+ Day Trips

Friday, February 7

Leaving the church front parking lot at 11:30 a.m. to travel to Treebeard’s Cafeteria for lunch. After lunch we will go to the newly-renovated Holocaust Museum. The museum doubled in size at the cost of $34 million. Among the exhibits are a 1942-type rail car used to transport Jews to concentration camps and a Danish fishing boat like those used to ferry Jews to neutral territory. We will have a guide – the cost for this trip is $12 per person. To make a reservation, call Barbie at 713-468-8241, ext. 8147. No cancellations after February 3.
