Every year Tallowood Baptist Church participates on several mission trips. We want to be active participants in spreading the Gospel.

Zambia Mission Trip

Join over 100 people on a life changing trip to Zambia, Africa to serve alongside the students of Northrise University. Participants will serve in teams to "Impact Ndola" for Christ, and to further the mission and vision of Northrise University. On this trip, we will visit Northrise's current and future campus, visit with current students and graduates, experience the various ministries that Northrise supports, and learn about the sustainable farming practice at Northrise Farms. End the trip with a visit to Victoria Falls and the Chobe National game park for time to debrief and take in the exceptional beauty of Africa.
Northrise is a private University that seeks to transform the lives of students with a Christ-centered education so they can change the lives of others and collectively change a nation. If Zambia and other parts of Africa are ever to be released from the gripping effects of poverty, we must create change from the inside out. Northrise seeks to raise up leaders who are equipped with a solid education who will choose to stay within Zambia and be part of the change. Our hope is that Northrise might inspire you to realize the Lord's miracles around the world and that through Him, anything is possible.

Venezuela: August 6-16

We will be going to Venezuela in partnership with Texas Baptists (BGCT). We will be doing evangelism, revivals, and other activities. Activities include prayer walks, house visitations, personal evangelism, tract distribution, preaching, etc.
Local host churches will provide meals, transportation, and lodgings. Lodging will be provided by local church members (you get to stay in their homes). This will provide you with an authentic look into their culture and lives. Because of this, and the partnership with Texas Baptists, the trip cost is only $750.

Brazil Chapel Construction Mission Trip: Recurring

| We will be building 10 chapels in Brazil over the next few years. We build these chapels in just 5 days. See the video below for an example. To read a report of our last trip click here .
NEXT TRIP - OCTOBER 22 & 29, 2010
In our partnership with the Ceará United Baptist Convention we plan to build at least two chapels in 4 different locations in 5 days. If possible, some will stay or another group will go for the 2nd week. This is an exciting time as we will see hundreds attend on our inauguration day and many will believe into Christ as Savior and Lord. You can also go and work with children, do personal evangelism and serve the medical needs of people.
