"Community" is the theme of our single adult ministry. We want to provide an atmosphere where Jesus Christ is the center of everything we do while meeting the needs of the total individual. The single adult ministry focuses on four areas of ministry: spiritual growth, service, specific needs, and social.

Well – this is the final Wednesday newsletter. Ironically enough, I’m sending it on a Thursday.
The weekly email has been one of my favorite things about my time here. God has used the process of consistently writing about His Word to reveal His character to me and hopefully, form His character in me.
While the routine of writing was typically the same, every week was very different. Some days I would sit down to write and the words flowed out like a river. Other days I would begin with a plan and after hours of editing, my original idea was no where to be seen.
And once in a blue moon, I would sit down to type and have absolutely no idea what to say. When that happened I would simply start typing and hope for the best. Without fail, the Spirit would bring the seed of a thought to my mind and by the time I finished typing the first paragraph, the spiritual application would be completely formed. Those days reminded me that God doesn’t need my experience or cleverness to communicate His truth – He can do just fine without me. Those were my favorite days.
I doubt I’ll be able to continue a weekly email during the summer, but I expect to have things to share from time to time. To that end, Lynda and I have created a blog to keep everyone updated on our adventures. We’ll write about our new home, jobs, and eventually – the new baby (due Nov. 23). And when I write devotionals, they will appear here as well – http://luttrullstown.blogspot.com. Please stop by from time to time…
All that is left for me is to pack up the office and enjoy one last Sunday at Tallowood. Thank you for giving me an excuse to write every week – God has used your words of encouragement more than you’ll ever know.
