Christmas at Tallowood
On December 20 and 21, Tallowood Now will sponsor a fun-filled evening of music and carols called “Christmas at Tallowood.” The event, under the direction of Gerald Ray, will feature wassail, gingerbread and lots of Christmas favorites.
As part of this event, Tallowood Now is hosting a gingerbread house contest. Families, classes, department and friends are encouraged to decorate a charming house for this competition. Pre-constructed gingerbread houses will be available by December 1 for the purchase price of $15.50. You need only to add creativity and imagination! We would like to display these festive houses and use them as part of the decorations for Christmas at Tallowood. Following the event, the houses may be taken home to enjoy with family and friends, or donated for distribution to many of the hospitals and nursing facilities in our area.
The number of houses is limited. If you would like to pre-order one please call the church office at 713.468-8241, ext. 8151 to place your name on the list. You won’t want to miss this wonderful Christmas event so mark your calendar now. Because of limited seating this will be a ticketed event. Tickets will go on sale December 1.
